    A release is one reviewed package, fixed at a point in time. The package is the technical source of truth for its own requirements, artifacts, digests, evidence, and limits.

    The right-hand column is each release's current publication state as its own record declares it. Where a release records no exact publication date, none is shown and none is inferred from a candidate revision, a signing event or a build.

    Publication rule

    A published release is not edited. Corrections are issued as a new release with its own identifier and digests, so any citation continues to resolve to the exact material it referenced.
